A circle of large overlapping rock slabs in the centre of the Subterranean Desert, each slab standing so tall that it can be seen on the horizon for miles. Over time the darkdwellers have made caves in the rock, and built tunnels, forming their own city. Far from the shores of Inkwater, the pokemon here feed mostly on a special type of fungus that grows around the crystals. Pokemon here are generally any kind of land-dwelling pokemon.

No New Posts Chamber of Elders

An underground chamber hidden beneath the centre of Atrenoir. Inside is a large dial with 17 square-shaped slots on it and a large crystal in the centre. No-one knows what this device is for, but for centuries this has been the meeting place for the darkdweller elders.

Board Description
Subterranean Desert
A massive expanse of sand forming the floor of a network of gargantuan underground caverns, covering about 48% of the underworld. The desert always appears a soft blue colour, lit by the soft glow of the thousands of crystals atop the cavern ceiling. Dotted around are ancient statues and carvings, many of them thosands of years old.
